The vicious cycle of comfort eating.

Sometimes we beat ourselves up and turn to food for comfort. Then beat ourselves up further and end up feeling terrible. Maybe we should spend some time accepting ourselves. Understanding that we are not perfect, neither is anyone else, that thoughts and feelings are transient and that we are loved, just as we are. Maybe if we focussed on acceptance then we would find all the comfort we need.
